About TDAP
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), established on November 8, 2006, under the Ministry of Commerce, is the successor to the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). Unlike its predecessor, TDAP takes a holistic approach to global trade development, beyond just export promotion. It is the country’s premier trade organization, professionally managed, empowered, and dedicated to supporting Pakistan’s trade growth.

Mission
TDAP promotes and develops exports through coordination with public and private stakeholders, enhancing product value, expanding the export base, and encouraging export-oriented foreign investment and joint ventures.

TDAP improves market access by advising the government on trade diplomacy and promoting Pakistan’s business image internationally. Using modern marketing strategies, market research, and technology, TDAP aims for significant export growth while fostering staff skills, motivation, and career development. It strives to be a role model trade promotion organization in developing countries.

Trade Development Company (TDC) provides support to exporters in promoting products in foreign markets and developing foreign economic activity. The Company’s activities are aimed at supporting national manufacturers and enhancing the competitiveness of domestic products in the international arena.

TDC offers exporters consultative and organizational support on matters related to export activities, and also facilitates the expansion of business ties and entry into new markets. As part of its work, TDC implements the Made in Uzbekistan program, which is focused on promoting national products and brands at international exhibitions and trade fairs.

The Company also contributes to the development of the export potential of enterprises and supports initiatives aimed at strengthening the position of national businesses in foreign markets.

The Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established to improve conditions for the development of pharmaceutical activities, further increase the level of provision of the population and health care institutions with affordable, high-quality medicines, medical devices and medical equipment, the introduction of a unified system of coordination of their production, import and sale.
